Scammer: (title of my Craig's list post redacted for privacy) Do you still have the item for sell? Kindly reply me back with present condition. 9:12 PM
Me: Yes, I do. The condition is as described on the site. I don't have a new battery for it, so I can't tell you more than that. 9:56 PM
Scammer: Am highly interested in this item and am okay with the description of the item.i prefer paying you through bank transfer because of my current location 9:58 PM
Scammer: and i will inform a courier agent for the collection at your address after you confirm the fund in your bank account(No shipping Included). 9:58 PM
Me: That can work as long as they arrive with cash, credit/debit card, or are able to do a PayPal transaction on site. 10:02 PM
Scammer: i only have access bank transfer 10:06 PM
Me: Transfer the money to your agent and then have him/her bring that to the meeting. If you don't want it, then they can transfer it back to you. Also, if you can go online, you can sign up for a PayPal account. 10:08 PM
Scammer: when you have confirm the payment in your account and you will send the agent there fees 10:32 PM
Sammer: the agent only have accept western union and i dont have access to that now,so i will transfer the full money with agent money to you through bank transfer and 10:32 PM
Me: I googled your number. You have already been reported. 10:50 PM
Me: How often does this kind of scam actually work? 10:50 PM
Me: The person you tried to buy the washer from was not impressed either 10:51 PM
Me: Or rather, tried to "buy" the washer from. 10:52 PM
Scammer: No ,i dont believe my number was reported 10:53 PM
Me: Improve your grammar, change your pitch, and figure out another way to scam people at a distance 10:53 PM
Me: http://reportcraigslistscams.com/xzclf/1/posts/1_Reported_Craigslist_Scams/1__/14370_Text_message.html 10:53 PM
Me: Preferably (for you) not using a method that Craig's list specifically tells sellers to avoid. 10:54 PM
Me: The fact that you keep trying tells me that there must be enough people to make it worth your while 10:54 PM
Scammer: it was a fool yesterday that did so after sending him $500 via paypal and telling me i have not receive the money 10:55 PM
Scammer: Am not a scam friend 10:55 PM
Scammer: That guy was a fool 10:55 PM
Sammer: i later cancel the payment because of his foolish and illiteracy 10:56 PM
Me: This happened today, "friend". 10:57 PM
Scammer: i just dont understand 10:58 PM
Scammer: He flatter me a lot and i dont know he will do that to me. 10:58 PM
Scammer: i will also report his number as a scam 10:59 PM

Then I blocked his number. :)
